Modern displays & voice announcements for new and existing lifts
Add digital floor indicators and clear voice announcements to your lift — whether you are modernising an existing installation or fitting out a brand-new one. Configure the whole system online, then upload it to a single master unit that runs every panel.

Frequently asked questions
Audible and visual signalling and hands-free voice calling support the accessibility expectations set out in EN 81-70 and new-lift integration uses standard Modbus RTU
Does Lift Displays replace my lift controller?
No. Lift Displays is a display, call and announcement system. It works alongside your existing or new controller and never takes over the safety-critical control of the lift.
How is the system set up?
Everything is configured online — floor labels, voice announcements and panel layout — and uploaded to the master unit. There is no specialist software to install and no programming on site.
Can the building manage the lifts itself afterwards?
Yes. With the master unit on the building network, the caretaker can adjust brightness and volume, post out-of-order notices and building-wide messages, all from a browser at liftdisplays.local.
Will it work with our existing lift?
In most cases, yes. For refurbishments, Lift Displays reads the signals the lift already produces and turns them into displays and announcements, so it does not depend on the make or age of the controller.
How does it connect to a new lift controller?
Over standard Modbus RTU. The controller publishes status to a fixed register map and Lift Displays reads it. Any controller supporting Modbus RTU will integrate.
How do passengers call the lift?
Calling the lift is by either touch on the display or by using standard pushbuttons that you can connect to every device.
What connects the panels together?
A single standard network cable, run as a loop from the master unit to each panel.
