Direct integration over Modbus RTU
Lift Displays connects to the new lift controller as a Modbus RTU device. The controller publishes lift status — position, direction, door state and any messages — to a fixed register map, and the master unit reads it to drive every panel in real time. Because the interface is standard Modbus RTU rather than a proprietary protocol, the system is not tied to a single controller manufacturer, and the integration is documented rather than bespoke.
Configure the building before you fit it
A new installation is planned in full before anyone is on site. Floor labels, voice announcements and the layout of every car and landing panel are set in the online configurator and uploaded to the master unit, which distributes the configuration to every panel. First-fit and commissioning stay simple, and the passenger experience is decided in advance rather than improvised on site.
One master, every panel
A single master unit coordinates the whole installation. Car and landing panels connect using one standard network cable in a loop, and the audio messages are distributed to every panel from the master so announcements stay consistent across floors. Adding a panel is a plug-in operation, which keeps first-fit and commissioning straightforward.
Specify the fronts you want
A new installation is the best opportunity to get the passenger experience right. Choose display sizes per location, decide between touchscreens and mechanical push-buttons with displays, and mix them across the building. Accessible by design
Specifying Lift Displays from the outset means audible and visual signalling, and hands-free voice calling, are built in rather than added later. Every arrival and floor selection is announced in speech and shown on screen, supporting the accessibility expectations placed on new lifts in EN 81-70.

Which lift controllers does it work with?
